Cheetah Mobile convinced ASUS to put a stub to their app in the Lollipop upgrade. Problem is, the stub is marked as system app, and no matter what you want itsceither got root privlegesctomyour device, or you will be endlessly hounded to "upgrade" (install) it. Other apps got this special treatment, 50+ Games, TripAdvisor and Zinio. Aside from there not being any benefit to using Clean Master with Android 5, it extends the surface of malware attack. The app itself has no integrity checking to prevent being coopted by malware, and it RUNS ADS This is something that I find acceptable in a trial free app that can be removed, but absolutely odious in a manufacturers package system update that never notified the device owners didn't ask permission to install, and cannot be permsnently removed or disabled.
Cons: Needs effective retraction of system app right and total removal Needs to uninstall stub included in system update
